Our private GPs have specialist qualifications, which means that many complex conditions can be treated in house at the Beard Medical Practice.
If a referral for further assessment and treatment is needed, the private GP will discuss the choices available to you.
They can arrange your swift referral to specialist private healthcare providers, many of which are available within the Litfield House Medical Centre. We also have excellent local radiology services for all types of x-rays, ultrasound, CT and MRI scans.
Available imaging includes:
Plain X-rays
ECGs (electrocardiogram)
Echocardiograms
Ultrasound scans, including fetal scans
Mammograms
CT scans
MRI scans
DEXA bone density scans
In some cases, it may be more appropriate to refer you within the NHS. Our experienced private GPs will go through all of the options and ensure you see the correct specialist for your health problem.
